Taiwan | LMH Served: 4
Lay Mission-Helpers first went to Taiwan in 2003 to work with the Sisters of Our Lady of China. Our lay missionaries serve at Chung Jen Junior College of Nursing, Health Science and Management in Chiayi. Chiayi is located in the southwestern plains of Taiwan.
Marshall Islands | 1997-2008, Current | LMH Served: 11
LMH began working in the Marshall Islands in 1997. The Republic of the Marshall Islands is a Micronesian nation of atolls and islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, just west of the International Date Line and just north of the Equator. LMH has served on the atolls of Majuro, Jaluit (Jabor), and Kwajalein (Ebeye & Gugeegue) in the area of education.
