Quito is located in the mountains of Ecuador, and is known for its high altitude and temperate climate. One ministry site is located 45 minutes outside of Quito, in a rural setting serving in small faith communities. The work includes leading Bible reflection times, visiting people in their homes, and training catechists. The other location is in the city, working with children in after-school programs, with the elderly, and possibly teaching English. Quito is a large city with modern conveniences.
